BIRTH STORY ALCHEMY
Services
-
I offer a space for you to process and integrate your birth experience, however it unfolded. I work with the understanding that birth is an energetic and psychological threshold, and its imprint can stay held in the mind and body long after the event itself.
Some of the techniques I use include 3-Step Rewind, EFT, parts work, and visualisation.
This may be for you if:
your birth experience still feels unresolved, whether it was painful, complex, joyful or difficult to put into words
you need space to reflect on and integrate your birth experience
your birth experience felt distressing or traumatic
you had a positive birth experience but have not found space to fully share or honour it
you have never had your whole birth story listened to without comparison, opinion, or judgement
you feel your birth experience has affected your sense of self, your experience of motherhood, or your relationship with your child and you need a space in which to recognise this
This may not be for you if:
you are looking for a medical birth debrief
you are currently experiencing severe or acute mental health difficulties, such as active suicidal thoughts or psychosis
you need urgent mental health or crisis support
Session structure
Sessions are held online and last 60-90 minutes. Many women find that 2-4 sessions are enough, though individual needs vary and some may benefit from additional sessions or other professional support.
Scope of practice
This service is offered within my scope of practice as an NCH-registered hypnotherapist and is designed to support women in processing and integrating their birth experience. It is not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric care, specialist perinatal mental health support, or crisis support. Suitability is considered on an individual basis, and referral to other services will be offered where appropriate.

This postnatal recovery massage is rooted in the traditional closing the bones ritual. It uses rebozo shawls to gently rock and bind the head and body, alongside massage of the abdomen, hips, waist, ribs, chest, shoulders and arms.
It's designed to help you return to your centre—physically and energetically—after the seismic shift of childbearing.
Whether you gave birth 3 weeks ago or 30 years ago, whether your pregnancy brought a living child or ended in loss, your body remembers. This massage can be deeply restorative and honouring of your experience.
This may be for you if:
your body feels depleted or not yet your own since giving birth
you are craving physical care that also honours what you have been through emotionally and spiritually
you are further along in motherhood but never had the chance to be held and nurtured in this way
you are moving through a life transition and need support returning to your centre
This may not be for you if:
You are looking for a medical assessment of postnatal conditions e.g. diastasis recti, prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction
Session structure
Sessions are held at Blackheath Therapy Rooms. They last 75 minutes, and are generally received as a one-off treatmentThings to know
To allow you to receive the fullest benefit from the massage, it is best to receive the treatment without wearing a top or a bra. As the ribs and chest (between the ribs and under the armpits) are included in this massage, there will be moments when your breasts are uncovered. Your comfort is of the utmost importance, so if you would prefer to keep your bra on, you are very welcome to do so. Please make sure you are wearing a soft bra without underwire
If you are breastfeeding, please do not feel concerned about leaking milk. This is completely normal, and all towels and shawls are laundered after each treatment
Avoid booking this massage during your period—abdominal sensitivity is heightened
Scope of practice
This service is offered within my training as a postpartum doula, and is not a substitute for medical care. This treatment is inspired by the closing the bones ritual, as taught by Sophie Messager (Women Wisdom Guide, PhD, Author) together with Teddy Brookes, Osteopath. -

About
My initiation into motherhood led me to this work. I have experienced the deep healing that comes from tending to the wound of a traumatic birth and the incredible growth that can follow. I have also experienced the life-altering effects of an empowered freebirth and the deep joy that can come from having your birth experience witnessed and accurately reflected back to you..
Learning that it is never too late to heal was a tremendous relief to me, and I am constantly astounded by the way in which tending to our own healing can ripple out to heal our children, too.
